A new global study by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER) has identified 3 fundamental concepts that have continued to elude Year 3 students for decades. 

Two Australian high school teams have been awarded honorable mentions in the final round of a prestigious global maths challenge.

ACER is a partner of the Global Partnership for Education’s (GPE) Knowledge and Innovation Exchange (KIX) Eastern Europe, Middle East and North Africa, Asia and Pacific (EMAP) Hub. Through this partnership, ACER supports members of the KIX EMAP Hub in systemic improvement.

ACER’s General Ability Test (AGAT) is a popular assessment among schools wanting to gain a richer understanding of their students’ reasoning skills to inform their teaching, class groupings and identifying students in need of support or extension.

From November to January 93 schools in India participated in the November 2022 session of the International Benchmark Tests (IBT).
